TEAM COACHING

Tapping into collective intelligence and building empowered teams

Teams are nested systems within our organisations.  They are made up of individuals who all have dreams and aspirations.  They also have obligations and responsibilities and are now being asked to do this faster, within budget and be more creative and innovative.  On top of it all, there is pressure to become more responsible with all stakeholders using fewer resources.  The systemic team coach works with the team leader and the team to clarify their purpose and objectives and analyse the relationships they have with all their stakeholders.  Together, they identify those relationships which are helping them and those which are hindering them from achieving their goals, so that all the stakeholders can thrive. What is being done well and what needs to change?

We work with the team leader and accompany them and their teams on the transformative journey, from a group of people working together, into an empowered, high value creating team.   A team which recognises that healthy conflict and diversity are necessary for innovation and creativity and who can hold each other responsible and accountable for their roles and behaviours within the team. We build the team confidence in celebrating successes and embracing failure as a learning opportunity, thus ensuring personal and collective development.

We also align the team around all stakeholder expectations; ensure economic sense and stakeholder responsibility.

You may have a fair idea of what is needed or you only understand you have a challenge but don’t know how to go about addressing it. Whatever the issue, we will meet you where you are on your transformation journey and work with you to understand your needs.

We have a number of workshops which you could choose from if you know what you need.  If you have an idea of your challenges but are not sure, we can run an assessment for you.  Whatever you need, we can tailor an intervention on any of the following:

  • Determine the coaching agenda and the outcomes desired.
  • Perform assessments of your organisation’s local and global ecosystem and identify all stakeholders (individuals, management, suppliers, clients, communities, society or nature and the environment), Team 360 questionnaires and interviews with all these stakeholders
  • Design the coaching intervention with the team leader/sponsor as per the team/individual’s needs
  • Run workshops – the duration and number depending on work needing to be done
  • Anchor the learning at each phase
